Purchasing Engineer

We are looking for a Purchasing Engineer to manage materials planning and procurement, with a strong focus on non-production materials and coordination with customs and planning teams. Responsibilities:

• Prepare material planning based on demand generated in SAP, ensuring an efficient supply of non-production materials.
• Handle all purchasing-related tasks, including placing purchase orders (POs), arranging delivery schedules, tracking shipments, and updating status.
• Work closely with customs authorities to ensure smooth import/export processes, compliance with regulations, and timely clearance of materials.
• Analyze purchase data, inventory levels, and material consumption to optimize procurement.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including planning and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and procurement efficiency.
• Work closely with the production planner to align materials supply with operational needs and avoid excessive inventory.
• Support management with other procurement-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Planning, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably with non-production materials.Familiarity with SAP and experience working in ERP systems.
• Experience working with customs and understanding of import/export regulations.
• Strong communication skills in English (Chinese language proficiency is a plus).
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.
