Objective of job

• Install/maintain/repair machinery and/or equipment; maintain buildings and technical systems and manufacture/install equipment

Principle activities

• Advise on equipment planning, selection, and procurement based on company standards and user needs.

• Recommend efficient maintenance, repair, and accident prevention measures.

• Prepare and manage maintenance orders per guidelines.

• Produce, install, and test complex equipment, ensuring proper function and documentation.

• Diagnose and repair defects in complex equipment using diagnostic tools.

• Perform advanced maintenance, repairs, and installations on technical equipment.

• Identify and address equipment weaknesses, suggesting improvements.

• Coordinate part procurement and breakdown resolution.

• Train and orient associates technically.

• Coordinate personnel and equipment scheduling.

• Ensure optimal machine functionality in designated areas.

• Execute supervisor directives to meet section objectives legally.

• Maintain quality, efficiency, and compliance in work activities.

• Optimize processes, assist in machine commissioning/relocation, and ensure accurate information sharing.

• Uphold professionalism, safety, environmental, and confidentiality standards.

• Collaborate with Quality, Logistics, and Production teams.

• Adhere to company policies, IT rules, labor laws, and quality standards.

• Reduce complaints and report issues promptly.

Specialized knowledge / education:

• Vocational/technical training usually acquired through several years of experience on the job with additional technical/vocational training in a specialized field (specialized knowledge and insight required for the application of practical methods and techniques, work procedures and processes; seasoned to master of skilled trade)

Work experience: 1-3 years

Additional knowledge:

• Some differing tasks with several potential solutions, including analysis of the situation/causes

• Standardized procedures and processes, and general work instructions; progress is monitored at longer intervals

• IT knowledge (MS Office, PC)
